OS4X Release 2026-07-28 can be downloaded online from the website www.os4x.com/downloads, the OS4Xvirtual images and the Docker containers are updated.
Current changes are:
- OS4X Core:
- ⊕ New: „Audit logs“ added: all configuration changes are centrally collected and documented!
- ⊕ New: Added an option to disable the automatic certificate exchange function.
- ↑ Improved: Events with throughput values below 0 bytes/s are silently ignored.
- ↑ Improved: Updated the installation script for MySQL 8.4 to include TLS connection parameters (due to a change in MySQL).
- OS4X admininistrative web interface:
- ↑ Improved: Clicking a tab title with the middle mouse button closes that tab!
- ↑ Improved: In the partner list, multiple entries can be selected using the checkboxes on the left in order to delete them in bulk.
- OS4X Docker image:
- ↑ Improved: The Apache module „mod_rewrite“ is automatically enabled.
- OS4X Enterprise:
- ⊕ New: Added the „Keep first directory structure, too“ option to the directory scanner to preserve the top-level directory hierarchy.
- ⊕ New: A parameter has been added to the „OS4X Enterprise user created event„, indicating whether the event was triggered via the GUI or the command line.
As the latest version of OS4X available, we recommend to update to this version as fast as possible.
