OS4X Release 2026-06-16 can be downloaded online from the website www.os4x.com/downloads, the OS4Xvirtual images and the Docker containers are updated.

Current changes are:
- OS4X Core:
- ⊕ New: „2DO“ file format support for the directory scanner! This allows OS4X to integrate much better with your ERP system.
- ↑ Improved: Use of OpenSSL 3.6.3 with all security updates.
- ↑ Improved: The OFTP2-TSL is only processed if an OFTP2 license is also used.
- Administrative web interface:
- ⊕ New: When clicking on an expandable menu item, you no longer need to aim for the small „+“; clicking the text is sufficient.
- OS4X Enterprise:
- ⊕ New: „Delete specific file“ plugin released! Delete specifically configured files (or the exact opposite) from your OS4X Enterprise jobs.
- ⊕ New: Support for the new „2DO“ file format is, of course, also available for OS4X Enterprise jobs.
- ⊕ New:The new „OS4X Webaccess Federation“ feature allows unknown users to log in to external OS4X systems (very useful for large installations with multiple OS4X instances).
- ↑ Fixed: The ENGDATv2 plugin now overwrites the UNB field for „Address for reverse routing“ with the correct overridden configuration value.
- ↑ Fixed: All email plugins improve the multipart standard for emails with attachments.
- ↑ Fixed: The „file rename“ plugin correctly generates timestamps when using date and time variables with current (non-job-based) values.
- OS4X Webaccess:
- ↑ Improved: In the DLName window, files can be sorted by date and time.
As the latest version of OS4X available, we recommend to update to this version as fast as possible.
