Release 2020-11-24

OS4X 3 Release 2020-11-24 can be downloaded online from the website, the OS4Xvirtual images and the Docker containers are updated. Current changes are:

  • OS4X Enterprise:
    • ⊕ New: Added parameters to „Enqueue“ plug-in: Use job number as time stamp suffix of OFTP2 files (for better clarity).
    • ⊕ New: OS4X Enterprise job statistics show the number of partners.
    • ⊕ New: Native OS4X Webaccess Electron Client 6.2 can now handle self-signed HTTPS certificates.
    • ⊕ New: More debug output in the „Filemove“ plug-in in the event of an error.
    • ⊕ New: ENGDATv2 plug-in receives new option for sender and recipient (typically used for supplier number).
  • OS4X Webaccess:
    • ↑ Fixed: Unread notifications are now processed correctly.
    • ⊕ New: Upper and lower case letters for HTTPS client authentication are now ignored.
  • OS4X Core:
    • ↑ Fixed: Event „blocked“ now receives the send queue entry parameters in any case.
    • ↑ Fixed: Log entry for incoming connection interruptions as soon as the secure authentication requirement of OFTP2 is not met.
    • ⊕ New: Adjustable support for TLS 1.3.
    • ⊕ New: Directory scanner can be configured to ignore empty files.
    • ⊕ New: Improved error output for known TLS version problems.
    • ⊕ New: Added support for HTTP proxy without username and password.
  • OS4X admin Interface:
    • ↑ Fixed: Compatibility with Chrome / Chromium web browser version 87 ensured, some elements were not displayed correctly.
    • ↑ Fixed: Google Maps integration.
    • ↑ Fixed: Job search works again on all fields.
    • ⊕ New: Representation of the status of the certificate chain.
    • ⊕ New: Representation of the individual file sizes in the job details of OS4X Enterprise jobs.
    • ⊕ New: Resetting the configured TLS version to „automatic handshake“.
    • ⊕ New: Allows download of trusted certificates.
    • ⊕ New: Added local AI for gender recognition when setting up people.
    • ⊕ New: Integration of city and postal code for automatic filling in of location information.

As the latest version of OS4X available, we recommend to update to this version as fast as possible.
