OS4X Release 2026-03-16 can be downloaded online from the website www.os4x.com/downloads, the OS4Xvirtual images and the Docker containers are updated.

Current changes are:
- OS4X Core:
- ↑ Optimized: Updated timeout behavior for network connections: much better error handling and error documentation implemented, clarifying where the cause might lie.
- ↑ Fixed: Downloading the TLS server certificate from the certificate chain view is now blocked.
- OS4X Enterprise:
- ⊕ New: A new partner option, „Webaccess notice“ is available, which informs Webaccess users as soon as this HTML configuration is populated at a partner’s site.
- ↑ Optimized: The Permission plugin now also allows empty configuration values for group and owner (and does not change them) without the plugin displaying an error.
- ↑ Fixed: Saving recipients is now possible when a non-unique email address is emptied (the „Save“ button becomes active instead of remaining grayed out).
- OS4X Portal:
- ↑ Updated: All cURL calls have been switched to the latest library version.
- OS4X admininistrative web interface:
- ↑ Optimized: The „Possible configuration problems“ section checks for the existence and correctness of the Apache module mod_rewrite.
As the latest version of OS4X available, we recommend to update to this version as fast as possible.
