OS4X 3 Release 2022-03-17 can be downloaded online from the website www.os4x.com/downloads, the OS4Xvirtual images and the Docker containers are updated.
Current changes are:
- All components:
- ↑ Fixed: Update zlib to version 1.2.12 to fix (in our view) a very serious vulnerability (CVE-2018-25032).
- OS4X Core:
- ↑ Optimized: If an outgoing TCP/IP connection cannot be established correctly and further DNS entries are available for this host name, these are attempted to be contacted one after the other (enables high-availability system environments).
- ↑ Optimized: Elimination of duplicate error messages when establishing a connection with expired certificates.
As the latest version of OS4X available, we recommend to update to this version as fast as possible.
