OS4X Release 2026-07-08 can be downloaded online from the website www.os4x.com/downloads, the OS4Xvirtual images and the Docker containers are updated.
Latest update: If you have questions regarding certificate validity periods or the „TLS Client Authentication“ attribute—which is often missing from consumer CAs—Odette has the answers.
Current changes are:
- OS4X Core:
- ⊕ New: Process cgroup configuration available for Linux: If OS4X processes are restarted—for example, via the updater or systemd—they switch to the defined cgroup.
- OS4X OFTP2 SmartProxy:
- ↑ Improved: Added support for large certificate revocation lists (CRLs, larger than 10 MB). This affects, for example, CRLs from DigiCert.
As the latest version of OS4X available, we recommend to update to this version as fast as possible.
