Release 2022-11-21

OS4X 3 Release 2022-11-21 can be downloaded online from the website www.os4x.com/downloads, the OS4Xvirtual images and the Docker containers are updated.

Current changes are:

- OS4X administrative interface:
  - ⊕ New: Comment field for directory scanners.
  - ⊕ New: Deletion of unwanted log entries (optional incl. Vault) available.
  - ↑ Optimized: Directory scanner entries can be (de)activated in the edit window.
  - ↑ Optimized: Rejection of unsupported ENGPART versions before import.
  - ↑ Optimized: Allow validation of email addresses with very long top-level domains.
  - ↑ Optimized: Updated to the latest ExtJS version 7.6.
  - ↑ Optimized: Recognition of c-works certificates during upload and automatic conversion to type „c-works“ instead of „upload“ for easier further use.
  - ↑ Optimized: Additional operating systems that are no longer supported by the manufacturer have been added to the „Possible configuration problems“ section.
- OS4X Webaccess:
  - ↑ Fixed: Correction of a bug that made it possible to access unassigned jobs under certain circumstances.
  - ↑ Fixed: Split jobs no longer time out on download if they contained large amounts of data.
  - ↑ Optimized: Updated to the latest ExtJS version 7.6.
- OS4X Core:
  - ↑ Optimized: Elimination of textually represented values “(null)“ in logs.
  - ↑ Optimized: Automatic deactivation of CRLS URLs of expired certificates from BMW.
  - ↑ Optimized: Extension of hostname fields to max. 255 characters (instead of 64 characters as before).
- OS4X AS2:
  - ↑ Optimized: MDN logs are now also displayed in the receive log.
- ExtUpload:
  - ↑ Optimized: Updated to the latest ExtJS version 7.6.
- OS4X Enterprise:
  - ⊕ New: Jobs created by directory scanners save the absolute path to the original file in order to be able to react to it in the job using a plugin.
  - ⊕ New: The partner long name is now saved in the initial job XML in order to visualize a sounding name for incoming data without a valid sender for end users.
  - ↑ Fixed: The job type (incoming or outgoing) is correctly adopted in jobs that were created using a directory scanner and have extracted dynamic senders and/or addressees using regular expressions.
  - ↑ Optimized: In all plugins that use templates, the name of the template is now logged in the logs (not just their index value).

As the latest version of OS4X available, we recommend to update to this version as fast as possible.
