In order to run OS4X, you need to fulfill some system requirements.
If you don't want to care about the requirements, we can help you to install them on your existing system or we can also help to decide which system you need in order to run the specified tasks on it.
System requirements in general:
- MySQL database server 4.1 or newer.
- Web server (such as Apache) with PHP 4.x or newer with MySQL support
- TCP/IP network enabled machine with at least 64MB RAM, depending on your platform and parallel active connections.
- for AIX: RS/6000 44P/170 or newer, Power3 CPU or better; AIX 5.3ML4 and up
- any type of ISDN connection available (depending on your used hardware)
- XML capable webbrowser (i.e. IE >= v5.5, Firefox >=1.x, Safari 2.x, Opera >=7.x) for administration
For OS4X Home Edition:
- Linux (any distribution) with at least GLIBC v2.3 or newer and kernel 2.2.8 or newer
- CAPI capable ISDN card (the commandline tool "capiinfo" may help you to determine if your installation is ready for that).
For OS4X Professional Edition:
- RemoteCAPI capable device (such as Bintec Brick XS, XM, XL or better) with at least one ethernet controller and one ISDN controller installed
