OS4X 2 Core is the OFTP and OFTP2 system of your choice to transfer files. It's reliable, easy to use and highly configurable.

 It comes in a default configuration with most presets defined for common installations. Though it's customizable to your needs, it's even so open to be connected to other EDI systems very easy. 

Here are the main features of OS4X 2 Core (in random order):

The system requirements are quite low:

 

in general:

  • MySQL database server 4.1.x or newer
  • Webserver (Apache, IIS etc.)
  • PHP 4.3.x or newer with working MySQL support
  • XHTML/XML/XSL capable browser with javascript enabled (Mozilla based browsers prefered, like Firefox)
  • for perfect vieweing: Flash 8 browser plugin
  • (ISDN hardware if needed, such as a BinTec Brick or, if Linux, CAPI controller like AVM FritzCard) 
  • working network connectivity

AIX:

  • AIX 5.1ML5 or newer

HP/UX:

  • HP/UX 11.11 (11i) PA/RISC2

Linux:

  • kernel 2.4 or newer
  • glibc 2.3.2 ornewer
  • CAPI capable hardware possible

Mac OS X:

  • Mac OS 10.4.3 (Intel) or newer 

Solaris:

  • Solaris 10 only
